A heavy material is sometimes perceived as huge, awkward, like a problem to hide or cover.

But how many times have we heard the phrase “we would need a weight…”? In this project, the heaviness is underlined, in fact, in this object the weight is the main factor that makes it work, and that’s why the form recalls a classical balance weight, a familiar object in the collective memory, but now almost obsolete. The object, in its dierent dimensions, addresses three dierent types: fence-stop weight, door-stop weight, weight paper holder (it works everywhere except in the absence of gravity).
